First Impressions - installation only - not weather tested yet
I have a Forest River Salem 26TBUD travel trailer that I store outdoors at my house in rural/coastal Virginia. Conducted exhaustive research on RV covers. This being my first RV, and wondering what other people do, I noticed in studying RV storage lots (and reading reviews) that a lot of people don’t cover their RVs. Why? I wondered...My perception after researching was that regardless of the brand, RV covers are expensive, have a reputation for ripping, rotting, disintegrating and they’re generally difficult to install and remove. With all of that in mind, I still wanted to try a cover to prevent or slow the green haze of algae that grows on house siding where I live. Also wanted to keep tree sap, pollen, leaves, etc from accumulating on the TT's roof and nooks & crannies. Snow is a lesser issue here, if at all. Decided to give the ADCO cover 34844 a shot because of its “All Climate + Wind” and 3-year warranty assertions. My first impressions of fit and finish are good. Cover went on great, fits perfectly, and looks great (i. e. not a big weird eye sore for the neighbors). The measurement for sizing the cover for my trailer is 26’6”. The 34844 cover’s sizing is 26’1” - 28’6” and it fits perfectly with just the right wiggle room. It has a “slip seam strapping system” to snug the top and bottom all around to prevent billowing. There are extra reinforcement panels at each corner, top and bottom. The “weighted buckle toss-unders” worked very well - great little feature. Zipper Entry Door access panels are perfectly positioned so I can get in the trailer if needed. ADCO included 4 tire covers, 4 downspout anti-chafing covers, 3 self-adhesive repair patches, a “ladder cap” and a cover storage bag.Installation went well for my first try. Watched some vids and read the instructions beforehand. Installation tips I picked up while reading Amazon purchaser reviews and reviews on other websites: 1) During installation and removal, BE EXTRA CAREFUL when pulling on the straps or the cover to prevent "If it won't go, force it!” rips and tears. 2) Prior to installation, small sections of pool noodles work amazingly well to cover downspouts and other sharp edges. 3) Don't try installation on a breezy day (remember the ‘ole gym class parachute? yeah.…) 4) Tighten the straps snuggly, but not too tight. Too tight and the straps may rip the cover at their anchor points. 5) Once covered, if you know you've got a big wind event coming, try temporarily wrapping the lower half of your RV with Duck Brand Stretch Wrap, 20 in. x 1000 ft., Clear, Single Roll (970700) to prevent flapping and billowing, then remove the stretch wrap afterwards so the cover can breath properly. Who knows if it will work, but with the occasional hurricane/tropical storm/nor-easter around here I’m going to give it a shot.I bought this cover with my own $$ and I am not connected with ADCO or Duck Brand in any way. I just know how helpful reviews are to me so trying to pay it forward. Hopefully my comments and pics have been helpful. Good luck with your search for the perfect cover!

Update After 3 Years
Full disclosure, I previously posted a somewhat negative review because the tire covers, bag and instructions were missing. It's true they were not in the box. I partially unfolded the cover to see if they were wrapped inside and didn't find them but didn't want to unfold the entire thing since I had absolutely no idea how it was supposed to be installed. I found a YouTube video that explained it so I eventually unfolded the whole thing and turned it inside out to prepare for installation. Sure enough, deep inside the folds were the instructions, carry bag and six (not four as I had anticipated) tire covers. There was also another cover that looked like it was for the hitch but I used it to cover the electric tongue jack. I still think there should have been some type of indication as to where these items were located. There was, after all, a label prominently displayed on the wrapping that said "...installation instructions and accompanying product paperwork may be located in the exterior pocket of the storage bag". It would have been very easy to also say "unfold cover and turn inside out to find these items".Anyway, everything was ultimately found and there were even two extra tire covers in case you had a 3 axle rig or wanted to use one for the spare tire. The actual material that the cover is made of is quite thick and actually feels somewhat spongy. The impression is that it will be very durable and breathe well. Fit was excellent and there were tie-downs and adjustment straps in all the right places. The accompanying picture shows the final installation on our 38 foot Hideout. One note about the installation process. The instructions say to unfold the entire cover, turn it inside out and then roll it back up again from back to front. You are then supposed to climb the rear ladder on your rig carrying the front end up the ladder with you and onto the roof of the rig and then pull it to the front. Since I do not have a rear ladder on my RV, the rear and is parked in such a location as to make laying out the entire cover impossible and I really did not want to try to carry the cover up a wobbly step letter we made a little change. We rolled up the cover front to back so that the rear end was free and looped a vehicle tow strap around the free end (see picture). I then climbed onto the roof of the RV and simply hauled the free end onto the roof using the tow strap with a 2nd person on the ground feeding it up to me as per the instructions. This worked extremely well and I think was a safer alternative than trying to climb up a ladder carrying the cover with you. If you don't have a tow strap, a heavy rope would work just as well.Overall, at this point I would have to give this item a 5 star rating, understanding that since it was just installed, long-term performance and durability are not part of this evaluation. The hidden items were an annoyance but I don't think it was enough to downgrade the rating.Update:Since some other reviewers have called into question the durability of this cover I decided to do an update. It has now been on our RV for three full seasons. We typically put it on at the beginning of November after our last Halloween outing and take it off at the beginning of April. Since we are in the middle of the COVID 19 pandemic, it is now the beginning of August and we still haven't uncovered it for our first trip this summer. It has weathered three full winters which have included several really nerve-racking windstorms, snow, ice, hail, and countless rain and thunderstorms. There is absolutely no sign of wear or fraying. No seams have ripped. No leaks. You can compare for yourself. The photo on the far right was just taken a couple of days ago at the beginning of April 2020. The middle photo was taken after the first time that we installed it three years ago. It looks as good today as it did the first time that we put it on. It is important that you are meticulous about covering sharp protrusions such as rain gutters to minimize the risk of abrasion. The only change that I made is I added one additional tiedown about 6 feet from the front. I found that this area was hanging a little loose and would flap around in a heavy wind. I used clamp-on type tarpaulin tie-down that you can buy at any hardware store and they worked great. I still consider this to be a five-star purchase and highly recommend it. In addition to having a good fit and quality workmanship, I can now attest to its durability as well.

Regretful purchase
I had purchased and put this cover in my 28 foot trailer pretty easily. I live in a very high wind area and the cover only lasted 6 months! It ripped and tore leaving my trailer open to the elements. I would recommend not buying this cover. We are disgusted and irritated with this ADCO product. The picture was taken 4 months after purchase...as you can see the rip toward the back end. Not impressed especially since we wasted $300+ 😡

This is a good cover.
I originally decided not to purchase this cover due to some reviews that said the material tore very easily. I shopped around and visited the dealership that I purchased my trailer from, and they highly recommended this cover. I took the chance and purchased it from Amazon. When I unpackaged the cover to install it I was pleased in the quality of the material. It came with six tire covers, a ladder cap, gutter tip covers(I used tennis balls instead), and extra straps. You do have to be careful installing such a large cover on a large trailer. You can't pull it from the back and expect it to slide up the front or you WILL tear it. I installed it with a little help from my seven year old daughter without any tears. It fits good on my Grand Design Reflection 315 RLTS. I will see how it holds up through our central Indiana winter. We are out in the open without much to block wind. So far it has been unfazed.
