10806-6 Zinnia Cut Flower Mix, 2 Pounds

So I have tons of zinnias plants coming up with just a spread of mix and water and time. However the watering system on the package says to water until you see a sparkle. I never saw any sparkles. So I just watered vigorously at first (2x a day) until the sprouts appeared. The germination is not 100% but is about 70%.*** update*** I don't know about anyone else but these were just about the most beautiful thing I've planted, not just the blooms but also the hummingbirds they attract. I'm planning to plant them again

If I could take away stars I would.... Used this product three years ago, was beautiful, and so easy.... Bought four bags this year, NOT ONE seed germinated. Not one. Have been gardening over twenty five years, not a novice---- this was very inferior seed. $100 wasted. Very unhappy.

I was initially suspicious when I opened the package and saw what looked like an occasional seed among other stuff but so far I had way more zinnias come up than I can handle. They seem vigorous and are growing fast (compared to those from a regular seed package). No blooms yet as it is too early in the season for that.

Really great seeds -- hard to believe that all you have to do is sprinkle on the ground and water them. Within TWO days I saw some sprouting already. I planted these late March (NC) all around the fence of my kitchen garden and have been in full bloom since May. The variety of blooms and colors (some solid, some variegated) is astounding (the photo on the bag doesn't do it justice) and some are over 6 feet tall. It's also a great value for the money -- many seed packs with far fewer seeds do not produce the quantity of flowers like these do. One tip: Although the instructions say that you don't have to cover the seeds, in some cases, I did put a light sprinkling of potting soil on top (not even covering them) just to ensure that they didn't drift out of place due to wind/watering, especially on a slope.

Not one seed came up no not one stinking seed

We have gotten this packet several years because we liked the idea that there were Zinnas and fertilizer. Somehow, there are more weeds than flowers. We will not be ordering them again

I was very skeptical after ordering because I read some not so good reviews. Me and my granddaughter made a new, rather large zinnia bed. The following weekend they were popping up! There seems to be a good amount of seeds in the bag according to what I see growing so far. There was a mixture of fertilizer and some kind of growing medium as well. So far I'm very pleased! I feel like the price was a little too high for the amount of seeds in the package. I would purchase again now that I see that I'm definitely going to have some beautiful flowers this summer. Zinnias are my favorite!

i first tried these a couple of years ago and they were great- tons of plants, beautiful flowers all summer. the last 2 years, not so much. very few seeds sprouted. this year we purchased a bag for my mother in law- she's a meticulous gardener- and only a dozen or so seeds came up. in our garden we fared a little better but no where near the results we had a couple of years ago. they say 1`00% guaranteed, i'll see if they will send a replacement.
