This product arrived promptly and was put together and in my pond in minutes. When it's in full sun we get a nice little fountain with a steady stream of water. However, when in shade the water splutters somewhat. It could do with the solar part being separate so that it can be put in a better place to get the sun/solar power. Considering the price though... I can't complain.

I wanted a water feature without the hassle of all the electrics. I had a solar fountain before and loved watching it dance to different heights depending on the sunshine but it broke unexpectedly. I spent a few years trying to source a new one and I am glad I purchased this one.Once I went outside and before I placed it in the water it was already trying to work and immediately started throwing water out of the nozzle once it was in the water. It is fun watching it react to the different levels of sunshine throughout the day. Nice.

This is an amazing product, admired by all ages and even pets and wildlife. I would give 5 stars if the benefits of the battery would be noticed. However, I own a smaller version of this fountain (1.8W instead of 2.5W) and this does perform a bit in a bright day without the direct sun. A must for every garden, in my opinion. :)

Brilliant little gem. It worked straight from the box, no tools required. Works great, just what our new pond needed. We were so impressed, we ordered a second one the same day that the first one arrived. So soothing as well on a sunny evening. I cannot recommend this enough.

we chose this option as it advertised a battery back up. if there is one, it is no back up. if the solar panels drop out of direct sunlight, if water leaks or spills for example, then the fountain stops. i gave it a second star only as it looks ok when it actually is working

I bought it to go in my bird bath but it throws all the water out. I was constantly topping up the water. It worked for a couple of weeks but now doesn't work at all. It has been very sunny recently but the battery does not charge.

We found it works well as far as the pump is concerned but find it floats to the surface of the water and this causes the fountain to go over the edge which means you are constantly losing water.Also it means that the pump is not level because the motor is to one side when it is floating

Very hit and miss a bit disappointed with this
