LIFE Elton John Single Issue Magazine – May 17, 2019

Love it

I am a huge, almost 5-decades long fan here, so I had to get this, and didnt want to wait to try to find it in stores, so I ordered it from Amazon. It is a nice presentation with a few photos that I'd not seen before. I'm giving it 4 stars because of a glaring error on page 12. The song, "Made in England" was not on the "Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy" album, which was released in 1975. It was on the "Made in England" album that was released 2 decades later, in 1995!! How did someone miss that? There may be others, but that stuck out like a sore thumb.

If you're an Elton John fan, you'll love this! It includes info that's in his book, "ME", but also LOTS of great photos from the early years & intimate, personal moments that were defining for the entire world. Highly recommend!

This print magazine is an important piece of historical documentation.

LIFE has always been famous for their enduring articles celebrating the lives of fantastic artists...

Well worth buying. I would recommend it.

Wish more of the pictures in the book were in color but I love Elton John, so I'm very pleased with it : )
