These actually work! I've tried many other traps, including some that are similar in appearance to these. But those other traps either failed to catch mice, or they killed them...sometimes by unintentionally suffocating them within the improperly ventilated trap. With these traps, however, mice are captured without injury, and they survive until I find them hours later...typically when I wake up in the morning. It's easy to open the traps and release the mice...in a safe place other than my garage!...without concern that I may be bitten by a terrified captive mouse. I bait them with peanut butter, I wear gloves whenever I handle them, and I occasionally wash them in my garage sink to maintain sanitary conditions. If you want to catch mice without harming them...and if you are patient, then I believe you will be happy with these traps.

Disliked that the product was pretty much useless

I haven't caught any rats in this, and with the size it is that is probably just as well. I have caught a few mice. I made the mistake of dropping one of these traps, and broke a plastic piece off, so it no longer works. I like how easy it is to bait and also to set. And I like that it is small enough to handle easily I just with my mice were more drawn to go in it. The same bait in other traps seems more effective.

Well built and the trigger works well. Please that it is a MOUSE trap. We had some mice in our sun room, but it turns out we also had a large Roof Rat. This trap could probably handle rats of modest size, but ours was a monster that would not have fit. Great for mice. If you need a human trap for large rats get a bigger size.

Better than two other brands I have tried that claimed to be humane. The other brands did not provide enough air.This trap is larger thus allowing more air and the back of the panel has a better design(vertical metal openings). The newly designed trap is much moreHumane and easy to use.

Just got this in the mail. From checking it out I feel confident this will work. The trap door closes securely when there's weight on the bait area. Best of all, this trap is really long for mice that are bigger than babies! I won't have to worry about tails getting caught. Excited to try this.

I do not enjoy cleaning the mess of kill traps. This trap is easy to set up, easy to bait, and it has better ventilation than similar products so you do not have to check the trap so often.
