PETAFLOP 7 Pack 24x36 Picture Frame with Plexiglass Front Black Photo Frames for 24 x 36 inch Wall Art

My buddy graduated from art school, and I inherited his final project, his showcase, his last hoorah at the Pasadena convention center: a series of very cool advertisements that a company would pay a graphic designer beaucoup bucks to keep. The buddy in question is at once well read and fastidious, so his stuff is top notch, but there were seven of them (posters), each one better than the next. When I saw this pack on Amazon I figured "this was made for such occasions" and I bought it. Now I realize frames should cost more than $20 a pop if they're to be well made, but this, my friends is not just poorly made, it's stressful. It's the realization that though the designer, the investor, the manufacturer, the distributor, the artist, the student, the teacher, the prophet, the clergyman, the trash man, the girlfriend and boyfriend, the buyer and seller have all done what they were asked to do...the desired result was not achieved. There's a lip holding in the plexiglass, the art and the wooden backing and it is an 8th of an inch thick...one measly eight to hold in the flexing of these multiple feet in length of these thin and flimsy materials...after months of battling with these things to stay in place, I hurled one to its demise and stapled the poster to the wall, but it's in the hallway near the shower and so the art is relaxing and sagging from the steam...I don't mean to give you too much useless info, what I mean to say is get you a poster frame that goes for $50, buy them individually, and never-ever buy this crap (I've resorted to superglue along that 1/8" lip btw).

I really wanted to like these but I guess the saying is true - “you get what you pay for”. First off, once you remove the plastic covering, you MUST be extremely careful and hold the frame with two hands. Otherwise. The frame will fall apart like two of mine did. I managed to fix them but this shouldn’t have happened. They are cheap and not put together very well. Secondly, the hanging hardware on the back is not the same on all the frames. They have two hooks separated by about 8 inches on some of them and about 7 inches on the others. Some of the hooks are not even with each other so when you hang the frames, they will look crooked. This could be easily resolved by having only one hook dead center instead of two. In any event, I managed to get all 7 frames up but I had to make some adjustments. Once they are up, they do look great but getting them up is half the battle.

At only $20 per frame, this was a great buy. I did read a few negative reviews here stating these aren't dimensionally accurate. They were about 1//8" shy of 36x24. No biggie. Because I am hanging posters in a non air-conditioned garage, a pro tip for you all is to tape around the back egde of the poster where the frame meets the MDF board (I used 2" wide duct tape). It should help to keep humidity from wrinkling your media. The factory did do a good job of sealing the plexi to the frame wood. Each of the seven in my set did have a few areas where a drop or two of glue did seep out during the manufacturing process. This caused the printed thin paper 'fake' poster included (of the British phone booth) to stick to the glue and rip when it was removed. Again, no biggie. I plan on buying another set or two of these as I have quite a collection of autographed racing posters I have been needing to frame. Note: If you get a smaller size (ie: 18x24"), the backer board is just corrugated cardboard, not MDF.

I was impressed from the moment they arrived. They were packed very well for shipping, in a thick cardboard box with a styrofoam casing inside entombing the frames in a safe and secure cocoon. The frames are made of wood and are well put together with easy to open and close clips to secure the compressed wood back. Since I am using them for movie posters I was looking for a tight fit and with these, I found it. I can bend the clips a bit to make the fit snugger to keep the poster flat. Which makes me very happy! The only complaint I have is one of the clips arrived broken. But I am ordering more of these frames so obviously it did not affect the look of the poster inside of that frame. I highly recommend these frames and this seller!

Thanks Lulu you’re great and You tried to solve my issue with this product. I was happy but I just got an email two months later but if I don’t send the broken frames back that I’m going to be charged for them. So first you send me these cheap frames and the frames don’t even hold the poster it’s the backer that does all the work the frames threaten to fall apart if you even touch the frame. If that isn’t bad enough you’ll be lucky to get them unbroken. Do not buy these they suck it’s cheap junk stay away.

Ok let me state for the money these are a good value but you touch these things wrong they collapse very easily. As long as you are gentle and plan not to move these around once they are up you’re fine. For me I found a good value because I needed a lot of frames for all the icons I wanted to put up in my home after a remodel. If you’re picky spend more on better quality frames. If you’re on a. Budget and can handle these with a soft hand just get these suckers loaded up and put on the wall and don’t touch once they hung and they look nice. Don’t expect high quality but these do the job. Like I said handle with care !

I've been using picture/poster frames for over 50 years and these are by far the flimsiest, most fragile, and cheapest quality. They're made of a weak and brittle plastic that breaks easily at the corners where they are stapled together. At half the price they would still be way overpriced for what you get. I certainly will never buy these again.

These are absolutely beautiful frames and much more than I was expecting specially for the price I paid!! I expected standard thin, floppy 1980's poster frames but when I opened this extremely well packaged box I almost fell over when I pulled out thick, framed frames that are sturdy and look like my other real picture frames 🤯These are worth every penny and more for the beauty they bring to your surroundings. I can't say enough good things about them and definitely plan on purchasing another set in the 11 x 17 size to match all these huge ones. My Bob's Burgers posters are going to look amazing now.

One was received broken (amazon gave me a credit), so ok at the end but left missing one. The worst is that I measured one of them and set all the places to hang them (put screws, level, etc.) in my home theater room. My surprise was that one of the 6 remaining was not having the same dimensions for the 2 hooks behind. (not the same height and the same distance as the others.... worst not possible to level it since the 2 hooks are not at the same height between them on this frame. So in conclusion, on 7 frames: 1 broken, 1 not well manufactured, 5 good.I did not call back amazon for the not well manufactured...

Not worth the 187$ paid for 7 poster sized frames.Perhaps when the frame is only 11x7 but at 24x36, VERY flimsy (one frame broke just removing the cellophane wrapper.)The Plastic sheet that subs for glass is really cheap and has scratches despite being wrapped in plastic. The frame itself is too flimsy to support the flimsy plastic that covers your poster, so you end up with a ripple effect and terrible glare/reflection.Each one was slightly off in size so only one out of 7 accurately fit a standard film poster.If you do buy these as a temporary placeholder for posters you are giving as gifts, i guess they will do until you can invest in better quality. Disappointing.

this was a very disappointing and expensive purchase for the quality received!the frames are broken and flimsy. very weak cheap material and unusable when broken the plastic glass keeps popping out.requesting refund!

All seven frames 24 x 36 came with at least one broken corner. I was going to return these until I found out how much shipping was going to cost. I was able to fix them with glue and gorilla tape .I do not recommend these frames very cheap quality break very easily

nice frame but should be a little stronger, you have to be carefull when handling or they will break
