The pole itself is perfect and I can't recommend it enough for your Festivus Holiday experience. I do however, have a grievance to air on this product.The base holding the pole is incredibly shoddy and can't support the pole. The base does come with three screws to screw the base down, but that doesn't help for indoor surfaces such as linoleum or carpet. In order to save Festivus, I used duct tape to keep the base weighed down enough to not topple over.

It’s a little flimsy, but so is tinsel...I find it distracting. Find yourself a small piece of wood (don’t buy it, or else you contribute to the commercial/religious aspects of Christmas), glue the rubber topper to it, and you have a base for your pole. You’ll have it up before you can say H&H Bagels, and its very high strength-to-weight ratio will survive the Airing of Grievances and the Feats of Strength without a problem. Declare Festivus proudly, because it’s your heritage...even if your neighbors threaten to run you out of Bayside!

More than I could have hoped for. A festivus miracle! No distracting tinsel to deal with. A fine addition to your holiday decor.

Makes a great Festivus Pole at a much cheaper price than official Festivus Poles.

The sections do not fit tightly together, so you're going to have a slightly wobbly pole. The aluminum is also pretty thin as you might expect. I worry that any more than a slight bump to the feeder will result in a bent pole. If you don't mind a little wobble, you're careful not to bump into the feeder, and have no small kids or big dogs, this pole set might work for you.

Mounts perfectly on, my provided, wooden stand. Delivered just in time for Festive celebrations.

easy assembly

Too large in diameter and does not fit well with a small / medium bird feeders. Not strong enough for a large feeder.
