Why did you choose this product over others?:Because it’s a Sky product, trust for quality and reliability and value. Been great, has fallen on the floor couple of times but remote remains protected.

The case is easy to put on your TV remote control and fits well. It does a good job of protecting it from those occasional falls of the chair or sofa onto a hard floor.

Our previous Sky remote had to be superglued together having been knocked off the sofa onto the floor some many times it tended to explode into it's constituent parts and slowly the plastic bits that held it all together were falling off.When we replaced the remote, the first time I heard it hit the deck I thought there must be a solution to our problem, I mean I have a nice case on my phone that stops it getting damaged so surely there must be a similar thing for a sky remote... and there is!The Sky remote feels pretty nice in your hand normally, I'm not sure this cover improves on that, even with it's grippy back, but it feels fine, if a little weird at first until your muscle memory accepts it. It fits the remote pretty snuggly and does it's job.Having test-dropped the remote from about 2 inches above the floor, I'm not entirely convinced of how shock proof this cover would be if dropped from a greater height, however if it should stop the remote scattering it's parts across the floor and having to be put back together then I am happy with that.

Sky remote has a useless design which is round and so wants to rotate in your hands when pushing a button. This case provides protection and also prevents the remote from rotating. The remote is still a rubbish design as you can’t put it flat on a table and push a button without it wanted to rotate.

This protective sleeve is quite sturdy and fits my remote perfectly, it's not going to fall off like some others reviewed. The only thing that I was wondering about although it does not effect the use of the cover was why there is a cut out at the front as the remote it is meant for is blue tooth, there is no IR light!

Fits the Sky Q VOICE control remote control. It could be better quality for the price as this is something that you should be able to pick up in the ‘pound shop’ as I honestly feel that’s all this cover is actually worth and certainly not the £9 asking price!However, there’s nothing else on the market for these cheap nasty Sky Q voice controls at this present time otherwise I would be returning it in a flash to purchase something more substantial.It could ideally be more of a snug fit but it does fit and obviously an improvement rather than no protection at all. The rubber could also be thicker for added protection being that this is what it is intended for afterall.Only time will tell how it stands the test of time with regards to it loosening around the remote and the cheap pvc rubber grip pattern disappearing down.

Like most other people, I quickly discovered that the Sky Q remote is not fit for purpose. It slides around in your hand and is virtually impossible to use with one hand. This makes gripping it so much easier and I don’t drop it so much now. Loses a star because it could do with being a fraction longer as it sometimes slips off at the top.
