Elevating Game Nights: Connect 4, The Unexpected Star of Our Beer Games
Never in my wildest dreams did I think that the classic "Connect 4 Strategy Board Game" I once played as a kid would become the centerpiece of our adult game nights. And yet, here we are! While searching for fun games to play on a chill evening with friends and beers, I stumbled upon this classic gem. I decided to give it a whirl, thinking it would be a nostalgic throwback. What I didn’t expect was how competitive and strategic it would become, especially when you add a few drinks to the mix.The rules are simple, as always – get four in a row before your opponent. But add in some beer penalties, team play, and the ever-increasing difficulty of strategizing after a couple of drinks, and you've got an absolute riot on your hands! The game’s quality is just as I remembered. Durable, brightly colored chips, and a sturdy grid. It's easy to set up and packs away neatly, making it perfect for taking to parties or gatherings. What's great is that it caters to all levels. Whether you're a Connect 4 newbie or a seasoned strategist, the game remains equally engaging. Plus, it's been an excellent ice-breaker for guests who might not know each other that well.In essence, the "Classic Game of Connect 4 Strategy Board Game" has breathed new life into our game nights, making them hilariously competitive and unexpectedly strategic. If you're looking to upgrade your beer game collection with a touch of nostalgia that everyone can enjoy, this one's a no-brainer!

Lots of new fun from an old classic
The absolute classic! Connect 4 is apparently supposed to be for ages 6 and up, but I haven’t bothered to tell my 4-year-old that, so she doesn’t know she’s not supposed to be playing it.I bought it as I thought it would be a fun way to help her learn to strategise and think ahead a bit, and she’s getting on really well with it. And it is indeed great fun!The set itself is decent quality, sturdy, and easy to store in its box after each session (the legs of the frame can be easily removed). If I were to change anything about it, I would include two little bags for keeping the counters safe/organised in the box. As it is, I’m using sandwich bags for that for now.

connect four
Great game for family fun , suitable for age 4 up . item needs fixing together which is easy to do but under adult supervision to avoid damaging it. a cloth bag should really be included to hold all the counters .

Hours of fun for the kids
My younger one just likes to put the pieces in and then slide the thing to make them all fall out. The elder one just got the hang of the connect 4 thing so it's interesting seeing him develop strategy. The pieces feel great. The part you use to slide open and closed the holes feel like it won't fit on well and might just fall off while you're attaching it (it kind of just clips on then slides back and forth) but actually it's plenty robust and has a smooth action so no complaints there. There is one tiny annoyance actually in that at the top on either side, there is enough space to start putting a token in but it won't go down because it actually needs to go slightly more toward the centre so you have to lift it up a bit and shift it along or it won't go in. The kids have found that a number of times and worked it out but even I find myself doing it as well which makes it a minor annoyance that doesn't really affect the overall.Size of it, weight of the pieces and build quality all feel great.

A Fun and Challenging Game for the Whole Family
The game comes with a sturdy plastic grid, two legs, a slider bar, 21 red discs, and 21 yellow discs. The grid can be easily folded and stored in the box, along with the discs and the legs. The slider bar helps to release the discs from the bottom of the grid after each game. The discs are smooth and durable, and they fit well in the slots. The game is well-made and has a classic look that appeals to both kids and adults. The only downside is that sometimes the discs get stuck in the grid and don’t slide down properly. This can be frustrating, especially when you’re close to winning or losing. We have to shake the grid or use our fingers to push the discs down. I wish the grid was more smooth and the discs were more slippery, so that they would fall into place without any hassle.Overall, this is a great game for kids and families. It’s fun, challenging, and engaging, and it can be played over and over again. It’s a perfect gift for any occasion, and it’s also a good way to spend some quality time together. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone who likes board games and puzzles
