Overall this stopwatch is fine, but there are some definitely drawbacks you need to know right off the bat.To be clear, the stopwatch, clock, date, and alarms all function, and the color is pretty. I gave it 4 stars because for the price, you’re getting exactly what you paid for.But it lost a star because it CANNOT be turned off. So every second of its existence, the screen is on and the battery is running down. There’s no combination of buttons that I’ve found to change that. Also, take the time to carefully ready ALL of the instructions. When it first arrived, the alarm was set for 3am, it was on, and every hour on the hour it would beep once. We picked this up to time my wife’s contractions when the big day comes, and when she discovered the hourly beep and alarm on the first night we got it, it almost met its end. Once we figured out how to turn all that off, we were fine. Just in case, do NOT keep this anywhere you’re gonna hear that and get annoyed by it even before you open the box.

It’s lightweight, reliable, and the battery lasts forever. Definitely recommend if you need a solid stopwatch for running or training!

I'm sorry but instructions are nearly gibberish. What do you think this means: "no noctilucan stopwatch Y key, M key in different styles. Take the difference and take the information as the criterion". Well, noctiluca is a type of bioluminescent diatom or something so I think it means there is no backlight button and the rest of the sentence basically means 'Hey dummy, the picture of your stopwatch in these instructions are clearly not the stopwatch we gave you. Just use your noggin and decode what instructions we should have included.' Well to the extent that I enjoy brain teasers and puzzles, I love it. Perhaps I should give it five stars for the extra benefit of tickling my noodle.

The stopwatch works well. Easy to operate. Large numbers. Easy to read. Fits my hand. I'm able to operate the stop/start with a thumb. Great.The problem is that the instructions are not written well. I couldn't stop the alarm from sounding. According to the instructions, the alarm chime is controlled by pressing the B and C buttons at the same time. I did this over and over and the alarm just would not stop. Anyway, just by chance, I discovered that you have to press the B and C buttons while in regular time mode not alarm mode. Sheesh.

I have an aggravating traffic light by my house that is green way too long for cross traffic at six in the morning. Bought this to time the light to bring exact info to the city's attention to fix the light timing. Has other features too that come in handy. Very happy with the quality and price.
