Worked perfectly for my project!
The shield is great for prototyping on a breadboard using a standard audio Jack. You can install double length female headers on your Teensy to tap into your pins from above, and directly solder into the audio channels once you're committed.Sound quality was excellent BUT on my Teensy 4.1 I had some tiny issues with playback on the Audio Shield SD card due to latency, opting to use the main board's slot instead. That might have been a code or buffering issue on my part.
