L-theanine is my buddy!
Magnesium, l-theanine - two things my doctor suggests are in this, so that makes me happy. That's a normal dose of melatonin too. But that price... around $0.72 a pill? If you take 2 as the bottle suggests then that's about $1.50 each day - that's steep, and I'm not liking that. It DOES help with sleep, so if other melatonin products don't work for you then this is a sure thing to try I suppose. I didn't mind the flavor at all. I like the manufacturer, but they need to work on making things affordable. This is for "Livingood Daily Sleep Support, 5mg Melatonin - Natural Sleep Aid with Valerian Root, L-theanine, GABA, Magnesium, Passion Flower, and Chamomile - Sleep Supplements for Adults - Vegan, 60 Capsules" at $43.16 on 12/14/2023.

good supplement for sleep
This seems to be an effective product for sleep support (hence its name). Livingood has some great products. I started with one capsule. That didn’t seem to be enough, so I went to two, as directed. That did work better, but once my body was acclimated to that, I went back to one, and it works out just fine. I take it about an hour before I want to sleep. It makes me drowsy enough, I sleep quite well, and I don’t wake up with fogginess. It contains 10 ingredients which help to promote good sleep support, including melatonin, valerian root, tryptophan, chamomile, and GABA. No sugar or GMO’s, and it doesn’t really have any major allergens. I do trust the brand, by Dr. Livingood, that it is ethically tested, natural, and vegan. I wish it wasn’t so pricey, I like the product, but I can’t really afford to purchase it on a regular basis. What I will do is keep some on hand for when I am in an insomnia cycle. If you can afford it, it is a really great and effective product.

An effective sleep supplement.
I've tried many sleep supplements and I've found that Livinggood Daily's Sleep Support appears to provide me with the steady sleep I need during the night. I've found that within 20-30 minutes of taking the 2 capsule dosage, I'm able to drift off into a peaceful slumber and despite having to get up once or twice during the night, I am able to fall asleep very quickly. I awaken in the morning without any grogginess whatsoever and am able to get on with my day without a delay. The 10 ingredient blend includes all of the major players necessary, to get you into relaxation mode and asleep quickly: magnesium, reishi mushroom, L-Theanine, L-Ttyptophan, Passionflower, GABA, Chamomile, Valerian, Lemon Balm Leaf and last but not least Melatonin; all solid, proven ingredients selected to provide a much needed night's rest.Although I haven't yet experienced a deep REM sleep that I desire and am in need of, I have only begun utilizing the supplement, and I am hopeful that continued use will get me to where I need to be. Regarding price; I would like to see this retail at a lower cost, as I believe that the current $47.95 is a bit prohibitive.

Didn't help
Unfortunately, this sleep support supplement did not help my insomnia at all. I took it diligently for a month. I gave it three stars because I really like that it's made with natural ingredients, it just didn't help me. There are a lot of reasons why you have or develop insomnia, and I'm trying to check them off as I go.. Whether you're a guy or a girl get your hormones checked, it could also be histamine levels , and obviously stress (cortisol levels).

Doesn't work
I have purchased many items form this company and do like their products but this doesn't work for me. I have tried taking it right after I get home even to see if I took it too late to be effective but it still doesn't work for me

Works well for me
I often have trouble sleeping but melatonin tends to work well for me. The bottle says the dosage contains 5 mg of melatonin, but the dosage is two capsules. Most of the time, 2.5 mg is all I need, so I just take one capsule. I tend to have more difficulty sleeping on Sunday and Monday nights, so I may take two on those nights. I like that this supplement is not just melatonin, but also contains many other helpful supplements such as GABA, Valerian, and Reishi Mushroom Powder. That may be why the price is higher than just plain melatonin.

So far, I've had good results with these!
I have been taking one capsule about 30 minutes before bedtime, and so far, I've fallen asleep easily and slept well throughout the night. They're very expensive, but if you're struggling to get to sleep well, they may be worth a try. They're easy to swallow, and I like that I don't need to worry about brushing my teeth after taking one, the way I do with the melatonin gummies I occasionally use. There's no noticeable flavor or aftertaste. The suggested dosage is two capsules, but I suggest starting with one, because that's all you may need, and if you do that, the bottle will last you twice as long.I saw that someone in another review said that two pills = 10mg of melatonin, but that is incorrect. It is 5mg of melatonin per *dose*, and a dose is 2 capsules. So it's around 2.5mg of melatonin per capsule, which is a good starting place if you're new to melatonin.
