These are not weighted utensils. They have an enlarged grip, yes, and it's easier to handle for those who need that support, but it is NOT a weighted product.

Very helpful with hand coordination
This is a review for…. Nourislif Store - Adaptive Utensil Set-BlackI was excited to get this set for my exceptional daughter to use at home. She has trouble with hand coordination and holding her utensils. The Adult Day Center that she attends uses these types of adaptive utensils. The wide size of the utensils makes them easy to grip and use. She no longer drops her spoon and fork. The set is lightweight but sturdy.
