Value for money
Perfect product for your home! I will always have fresh and safe water to drink. I’ve probably already used about 25 gallons and I already see the savings from bottled water. The taste of the water is extremely refreshing! Assembly was easy, filter speed it takes about 10 minutes to fully filter. No leakage, value for money!

Love it! Crisp clear affordable water!
Owned it for about 2 weeks now. I figured that I could take advantage of the price and always use different filters in the future if I didn't like these.SPEEDFor me, this filters quickly enough. I am a single person and I wait until it gets to the bottom to refill so it doesn't overflow. I fill it to above the black filters, slightly below the top. I can hear the water trickling. I think it takes about an hour for 2 gallons.Flow from tap is wonderful so I can fill my mug or coffee pot quickly.SIZE - 2.25 GALFor a single person, this is the amount I use per day. I fill a 14 cup coffee maker and drink 64-72 oz water per day. If someone else lived with me, would likely fill this twice.FILTERINGPreviously I used a Brita sink filter. I liked the water taste and it lasted long enough. I tested tap water and Brita water. Honestly not much difference in testing but tap tastes awful to me. This filter seems to taste slightly more flat than Brita. Our city doesn't add fluoride so I am only using the black filters it came with. The main difference is the clarity of the water. This filter gives me really crisp, clear looking water. I'm really loving it!PRICEGot this on sale for around $120 which is a steal. My Brita filters were good for 100 gal at $10-15 each. This is $50 for a 2pk that says it will filter 6k gallons. If I change it at 3k gallons (to be safe), it's so much cheaper!!! That's less than $1.75 per 100 gallons!!I will update as time goes by to comment on filtering abilities over time and maintenance.

I measured and timed the outflow...
I bought the 1 gallon Purewell gravity filter. The assembly directions were meh, but it was pretty simple to put together. Nothing leaks after several uses. At first, I didn't think the filter was working. It's VERY slow to start. Drip...drip...drip. Took all day. By the 3rd full cycle, however, it was much better. A thin but mostly continuous drizzle. And it tasted good. No funky taste or odors. On cycle 4, I measured and timed the outflow. I filled the top chamber with a full gallon (4 quarts). It gets right to the top, but it does all fit. After one hour, I was able to dispense 6 cups of water (1 1/2 quarts). I had to tilt it a bit to top off that sixth cup. After a second hour, I was able to dispense about 5 and 2/3 cups of water, tilting again. So it does slow as the weight of the water pressing down on top lessens. The third hour, the flow pretty much stopped, so I went to bed. The next morning, there was very little to dispense. About 1/3 cup. 2 cups remained in the top chamber that never flowed through. And 2 cups remained in the bottom chamber below the spout, even after tilting. So the output is 3 quarts per cycle. My conclusion: 6 cups an hour is plenty for myself and my husband while we're camping. We'll just have to refill the top chamber a few times a day. The filter's size is ideal for packing, and it appears to work well. I recommend running a few cycles through PRIOR to camping or you'll be thirsty that first day!

Good size and easy setup.
Purchased this because the water at my complex is very hard. (My coffee pot requires weekly descaling). This filter System was larger than I expected. Easy to setup and use. Did an OK job, but still left residue in the water. Removed some of the salty taste caused by the water softener system but there was still considerable buildup in my coffee maker. Used it for 3 months before deciding to seek another solution. In defense of the system, it is well-made and easy to use. Once primed, it works quickly and dispenses without leaking.

Good size and works well
I got this filter to help reduce the occasional strange taste or odor in the city drinking water (and coffee tastes better, too). It has worked well for the past several months (almost a year). I have the 1.5 gallon version with 2 filters (no separate chlorine/fluorine filters, though it would accept them).Negatives:My biggest gripe is that _most_ of the parts are stainless, except for the washer they provide to go on the top handle. It rusted within a couple weeks of starting to use this. I stopped by my local Ace Hardware and replaced it with a true stainless steel washer - problem solved.Second, the spigot sits up a bit from the bottom of the reservoir, so either leave about a pint of filtered water in the bottom, or tilt the whole unit to get the last of the water out. (I'm not sure that I've seen a better design with other suppliers). I've just been continually refilling it...Positives:I have been using the plastic spigot (it comes with a metal one as well). No issues with leakage (again, after several months of daily use). The filter process is quick - faster than some other similar water filters quote in their specs (including that "B" company). I can fill up the top and have enough filtered water for morning coffee in just a couple minutes (before the bread pops up out of the toaster).I definitely recommend getting the stand. It elevates the spigot high enough to easily fit my 2-cup (half liter) measure without having to tilt. Every coffee mug in the house also fits under with ease (one at a time :^)Overall I am pleased with this unit and I would purchase it (or a bigger version) if I needed another water filter.
