These compost bags are nice for the SimpleHuman compost caddy. They make storage of kitchen scraps easy. They definitely break down in our compost tumbler. They're very thin, and if you leave them in your compost caddy too long with a lot of heavy and wet scraps, they may tear on you when you go to take it out. I've been using them for about a year now.

Our green recycling bags are great since the bags and the green waste can both be disposed in our community green cans. Very convenient!

We’ve been using the simple human system with these compostable bags for more than a year. But the last two sets of Z compostable bags don’t fit flat into the bottom of the container. The bottom of the bag joins at a point.We accepted this the first time, assuming that it was just a manufacturing error. But the second set is making me wonder whether we need to whether we need to reconsider and find a new composting system.

Purchased bags for my Simplehuman garbage can. Thick, no order, hasn't failed. Like that I can place the bags in the back of the can for easy use.

Read reviews of this compostable bag, the majority of which were favorable. I beg to differ. Perhaps the larger bags are made better, not the ones for the kitchen compost caddy. This container is very small, so you can't really overstuffed the bag. But twice now, since purchasing the container and Z size bags they have leaked liquid waste...not pleasant. It appear the seam on the bottom is faulty. Then when trying to remove the bag from its plastic container there's not enough height in the bag to grab onto, making its extrication difficult, only to find the bag has leaked its fluid.I would prefer a non-compostable bag for the durability aspect. As where I live we are required to eliminate/separate food waste from our regular garbage. The city utilizes the food scraps for compost. Further, it would be helpful to have a taller bag with a drawstring type of closure...like a kitchen trash compactor bag. I'm now forced to use two bags to prevent the seepage...which is a waste of resources. Conclusion: Not recommended. I will seek out a better designed bag that doesn't leak and has some drawstring to secure the kitchen scraps inside the bag.

Bags are generously sized to fit my Superhuman container. They don't break down very quickly in my compost pile. I generally dump my compost out of the bag into my pile & throw in the empty bag to break down separately. I like these bags & will keep ordering them.

These are a staple in my household. Big believer in composting and my city now requires it. Fits my bin perfectly!
