Why did you pick this product vs others?:Gnats and fruit flies buzzing around my head got to be too much. I bought a similar product (called Zapify) that was completely worthless, so I was skeptical (my TV attracted more bugs!). This zapper REALLY WORKS! It’s a bit loud, but make no mistake, the dead bug tray is filling up with former pests.

BUY IT! Works great especially for the price . Some reviews say it does not give a powerful enough zap to kill a gnat. Well the amount of gnats flies and wasp caught in mine say that's a one off, or weak light that needs replaced. I did notice when I hear a LOUD zap, I know something big has been zapped and when I look nothing is in it or by it , but If I look around there is one dazed , it may fly off, but rest assured , it will come back and eventually will not fly away and will be dead near by. The light last forever , I ran it for many months over night only. The last month I moved out for replacing wood floors and painting , so I left it on to kill anything getting in during all the workers coming in and out all the time . It's still going strong running 24/7 for 4 weeks and tons of flying pest surround it. So your can't go wrong , worth every penny!

It is quality built , functions well ., it’s not too bright and make your eyes sore.It doesn’t just catches bugs , it eliminates them them and verifies they are dead, it kills very well.Since you have a shelf on the bottom, cleaning is easy as one two three.I’m you can hang it or just put it on a high shelf or something like thatRecommend

Overall it’s a great product, easy to clean, very effective for all the summer bugs and mosquitoes in southwest FL. Comes with a very nice hanging strap if you want to do that. The ONLY reason it’s not a 5 star is because of how loud it is when it zaps the bug. Holy hell. Even two rooms down it literally makes my heart stop it scares me everytime. I think my poor dog is scared for life. No idea why it’s so loud but I only turn it on certain times on the day because of this

Quiet unless a bug gets zapped. Effectively works inside and outside if I am sitting on porch or in house! Bought 2 and have had no bites this year!

Got this LED Bug Zapper after using older florescent tube models. For the first week it didn’t seem to attract much, but after that it began to do a lot of business.We have cleaned it out, and noticed after a month or two of use, the zapper has gotten more deadly and quite a bit louder when a fly or other insect encounters the electric grill, so much so that we jump everytime it scores a kill.Works extremely well, and we are happy with it. Would recommend to others.

Nothing in these trying times fills my heart with as much joy as hearing this hateful little death machine electrocute flies and mosquitoes. It's not as effective on big flies as fly paper and I don't think it would be effective on fruit flies at all. However, when it does nab a mosquito or fly, I can hear it all the wall from my room upstairs. My wife and I laugh and cheer when we hear that satisfying "zap" sound. When my wife is in the same room with it, though, it always startles her and I must admit that gives me a chuckle.
