Lightweight and simple. Good addition to regular fire extinguishers.
After replacing my many conventional fire extinguishers to keep them current, they were all recalled as faulty in only a few months to faulty handles rendering them inoperable. Had to return to the manufacturer. While I still have conventional fire extinguishers, I bought some of these as backups, and also gave some to other family members. One person recently had a small kitchen fire which one of these cans easily put out, instantly. They commented that it was good to have the tough plastic wrap removed, as others have stated. Also it was an easier, quicker choice to use this spray can as opposed to getting the larger, more expensive fire extinguisher with the pin.

Buy several.
Have bought as a single, and a two pack, for my house and also for gifts.Handy to have one on each floor of your house, and in your kitchen and your garage. Have one nearby for your bbq pit outside as well.Easier to use than large extinguishers- although I have one of those in addition to these.Feel safer with these handy, and feel safer that my loved ones have them now too.

this stuff saved my house
Ok I've never had a kitchen fire but had this on hand just in case. Suddenly a Pop Tart caught fire in my toaster oven (b/c I forgot about it!) and all the smoke alarms went off, there were flames inside the oven and smoke everywhere. I grabbed this and it immediately put out the flames so I could unplug the unit and throw it outside. Saved my house. Very grateful. Easy to use - just point and spray.

Great product for the elderly
These are easy to use so I recommend them for the elderly that may not be able to pull the pin on a standard fire extinguisher. I recommend removing the plastic seal immediately so an elderly person can use it very easily. The only downfall is the 3-4 year expiration label. This seems like a ploy to keep up sales, but who knows. In any case, give one to your parents! I bought ten and have them to my parents and handicapped friends.

Works Great
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought this 3 years ago and used it today. Worked great on a grease fire in the oven. At first I threw flour at it and the flames came back. Then I used this product and it stopped immediately.

Good to Have!
I gave this as a gift to my safety-minded brother-in-law. I knew he'd appreciate it, but also think it was random and funny. It was a hit! We all like that the design is really simple...if an emergency happened, we'd be too panicked to remember complicated instructions!

Good option
Good option in lieu of a full size extinguisher. Keep in car, small boat etc. Good price.
