I admit I am not an expert on French Green Clay, usually I stick to bentonite or kaolinite for my face clay, but I was curious to try the green stuff to see how it compares. I love that it doesn't smell like anything other than clay, and as far as I can tell that pale brownish green is natural, so the only thing in this clay is the clay. My skin is fairly sensitive and I do not notice it exacerbating any of my eczema or the like when I used it on my face, it was pleasantly smooth, no grainy bits or coarseness, meaning washing it off my face was a breeze. If I made soap I would love to mix it in for subtle coloring or just to make the soap a little fancier, I definitely am adding it to my other face mask routine! I found it worked best with rose water to leave the skin extra soft, apple cider vinegar works too if you find it a little too basic, that little hit of acid keeps the skin balanced.
