Great little device very useful for hiking and taking to festivals! Very easy to blow up, and at the moment, quite durable. Small to pack and very light - this is why we bought it for hiking trips. Definitely worth the buy! Comfy as well! Recommend :)

Not the comfiest but super practical!
Overall pretty satisfied with this product. It is super lightweight and packs up small and fits in the side pocket of my hiking bag, though it took a few goes to get the hang of rolling it up and getting the air out. It takes <10 breaths for me to inflate it so I don't see why it would be worth paying any more for a self-inflating mattress. The waffle texture is fairly comfy to lay on but when it comes to sleeping, it takes me a night to get used to it and then I tend to sleep better the following nights. Occasionally it has needed a top up of air between sleeping on it but not every time. Whilst this product is not mind-blowingly comfortable it has served me well so far and I appreciate its practicality. Provided it lasts, I would say this is sleeping mat is decent value for money.

Perfect size and comfort.
The mat is the perfect balance between weight and comfort. I have used foam roll up mats (too bulky) and self-inflating mats (still too bulky and not that much more comfortable) The Hikenture mat is about 2/3 the size of a kitchen roll in length and width and easy to blow up (ten deep breaths) and to deflate. The main part of the mat is about 2 inches (5.5cm) thick and you think it won't support you enough, but you can even lie on your side and your hips don't dig into the floor. Really looking forward to using this wild camping. In-built pillow is a nice addition as it save me having to carry one.UPDATE - In the end I decided to return this for the one without the pillow. I found in order to get the main part of the mat firm enough the pillow was too hard for my liking. In the end, I actually bought two of the standard ones (My daughter also goes camping too) as they really are very good...

Used this on dofe bronze camping expedition here my findings below:pros:-cheap-comfortable-packs up easily and futs into the small carrier case (helps as it doesn't take up much space)-easy to inflate/deflatecons:-when moving around on it rustles abit-for a larger individual may prove a bit uncomfortable

Quick up and down, comfy and lightweight
The mat arrived quickly and I was keen to see what it was like. I decided to inflate it and try it out. It was easy and fast to inflate and I didn't get dizzy. It was comfy to lay on. On deflation I was concerned about it not packing away so easily but it was fine. It took no time to push the air out and roll back up. The material is thin like waterproof anorak type material which helps keep it lightweight and easy to pack. I would recommend this mat of you are thinking about camping for all the reasons above.

After 3 years use, I think it's owed a review
I bought one of these in May 2018 so I think I can review with confidence now. I got the Green with Pillow one and my wife has the Light blue with Pillow option. (oddly, the green has separate valves for the pillow and body whereas the blue all inflates from one valve. 2 valves definitely better than 1 but I would skip the pillow next time anyway. More on that below). These are a fantastic size when packed down and I've used for multiple camping trips lasting overnighters to 4/5 nights at a time. Never had a problem with it. Hiking, Bikepacking, Festivals. It's done them all. It's never punctured, and still great. My only notes are the following. You blow them up with your mouth. This will cause condensation to 'live' inside and because they are semi transparent, you can see this condensation. This would be the same with any mat you inflate with your lungs but worth pointing out as eventually, mould may grow inside. Not that I've had any yet but dry it in the sun and store it properly and it should be okay. The actual weight of mine is 518g. Not the 480g it mentions above. I wonder if their weight includes the bag??When I need a replacement, I will buy another of these from these guys but I would NOT get the one with the pillow. It's not high enough to use on it's own and therefore if I have to take a pillow with me anyway, there's no benefit to having it included as it adds weight.

Comfy all night
Bought for a Duke of Edinburgh exped, so wanted it as light and small as possible. It was in fact very small & lightweight, but strong, and stayed inflated all night. Very quickly inflated by manually inflating, it looks like it's not going anywhere till all of a sudden it's inflated. Child was comfy all night.

Very comfortable mattress, does not deflate, just a bit too heavy for distance hiking
One of the joys of hiking is a good sleep on the ground at the end of the day, in the tent This mattress was very comfortable, full marks for that. A previous hike mattress I bought deflated every night, a problem with the valve. This mattress had no valve problem, tested over 2 weeks. But it has 2 drawbacks: I struggled to empty all the air out of it each morning, so could not roll it as compact as I would like; and it is just a bit too heavy for distance hiking, where (light) weight is important. I would highly recommend this for camping (with a car), a short 2-day hike, or emergency mattress at home.
