The product description nails the flavours bang on and though initially sweet, it has a dry and spicy finish. Nothing tastes quite like it and if you find the right use for it you'll be hard pressed to find a substitute.

this smells sweeter than it tastes, it has a lovely full bodied warming liquor with almost a mead honey like centre and then a lift at the end which means it doesn't feel too heavy in your mouth. I shared with my parents and this has replaced their love of sherry as an evening tipple :)
