Great Filter
This genuine GermGuardian filter fits perfectly in my AC5000 series purifier. It was super easy to install, and I noticed cleaner air within a day—less dust and fewer allergy symptoms. The carbon layer also helps reduce odors. It's a bit pricey, but the quality makes it worth it. Highly recommend for anyone with pets or allergies!

Works well - surprised at how much the initial stage/ layer collects. Great value for results!
Seems to work as advertised. This has two layers to the filter. The removable top layer is a kind of green scouring pad material that attaches with small velcro tabs. This part is easily removed/reattached and can be easily cleaned with a vacuum.It's nice that this first layer is preventing the primary filtration component from getting clogged up to quickly and unnecessarily with large particles - thus extending the lifespan of the filter considerably. This also gives you a visual as to how much the filter is working (and it's a little disturbing, actually...) Sometimes it's hard to tell how the primary filtration component is performing, so this top layer gives you a very real-world and immediate visual of what your filter is doing for your air quality.We had this up in the northwest during the CA wildfire season, and all I can say is 'WOW'. Really glad we had it. Unbelievable how much particulate matter is floating unseen in a relatively small and presumably controlled environment.highly recommended - great value for the results!

HEPA filter and ease of use
Bought my first replacement filter 6 months ago. Easy to replace, HEPA rating good. Am reordering again. Recommends '6 month' change out. My fan just gave me a 'replace' light. Checked filter - and, yes, clear to me it does need replacement. White when installed, now filter is 'grey' in color and clearly needs replacement.IMHO - Wish the filter was not so expensive (4-Star). Has worked well for me and does keep down dust. I always run the 'UV-C' with the filter. Reordering - Price now is $1.00 more than when I bought in Oct 2022. Not a bad price increase, but, going to order 2 this time instead of one.

Works as Normal
This works and fits. I bought this product many times in the past and it looks and feels the same. However, the carbon of black piece has gotten “thin” and I am not sure if it is the manufacturer that is cost cutting or the product. But all in all it is what I expected minus the “thin” carbon filter piece. Thanks!

Best get the real ones!
Even though generic filters say they fit this air filter save your money they don't work. They may fit the machine but I found the air cleaner will not turn on! I have filter generic tried everything under the sun to get it to work even unplugging the air cleaner nothing. I guess they want their filters only which work great. There really isn't much difference in the price either. If you get them on the subscription which I do it's about the same. I like these filters better anyway looks like the quality is a lot higher than the other ones. I guess it goes to show you that yuou get what you pay for.
