Works fine
This ceiling mount is being used for Xgimi Horizon S Max. It works well with the attachments. I wish the side screw supports were stronger to allow the mount to be at an angle, but with the weight of the projector, it’s more gravity.I think this is worth the value and will hold up well, long term.

Ignore the bad reviews
I’m really confused as to why this mount has so many negative reviews. It really made my decision harder but I decided to buy it anyway and see for myself. This mounts works as described and was really not hard to understand. I believe the manufacture has updated the design which I feel is important to mention. The adjustable arm has a notch at the end of it to prevent it from sliding off. It’s literally impossible for the projector to slide off unless you intentionally install it the wrong way. The instructions are no different than IKEA instructions and was easy to understand and not hard to read at all.The only thing I’ll say is be careful how much you tighten the sliding arm. The screw in the arm has teeth on the back and if you screw it too tight it will be impossible to undo once the weight of the projector/gravity starts to pull on it. This happened to me and I actually had to ask for a replacement which Amazon quickly sent out. It is very sturdy and I can guarantee you’re projector will not fall of. It would rip from the ceiling down before this thing comes apart, it’s that sturdy.Even though the manufacturer says it can be mounted on a wall, I truly believe this should only be mounted on the ceiling. This is really designed to handle vertical weight and I can see this being a problem for horizontal wall mounts. The mount naturally has a bit of wiggle to make fine adjustments to it, but when mounted sideways I could see this being a nightmare to get your projector level and staying level. So if you’re mounting a projector on this ceiling this is the one for you, if you’re trying to mount it on a wall proceed with caution.

Good mount.
All good except the connection of the extension arm to the wall housing is cumbersome. You have to hold the square nut with one finger which is tough

Hangs from ceiling
I wasn’t sure if this would work for my situation and it did! Universal and sturdy and easy to install from ceiling. Extra parts come for variables of hanging so that’s a plus.

Love it
I was refreshingly surprised by how this worked well for me, being that I had to DIY it.

It works but could be better.
It okay and flexible enough for any projector.Pros:1. The price2. Easy to put together3. White color4. Fits on most projectors.Cons:1. The lag bolts for the plastic anchors were too small. It was so loose that if I added the projector to the ceiling mount, the lag bolt would just fall straight out of the plastic anchors. Lucky, I had larger lag bolts and it was sturdy.2. You can not tighten the adjusting bolt enough to prevent the projector from moving if the projector was nudged it would move or if your power and other cables were hanging from the projector to the floor it would move.3. Adjusting length part slips when trying to adjust the projector. You can't tighten it enough to prevent this from happening.

Easy to put together! Recommend!
This works pretty well! This is almost all the way extended and it's about perfect for my screen. It was pretty easy to set up as well! I will say though, once you have the bottom hook for the projector on you won't be able to get the cords through, which is why mine are zip tied on the outside, but that was definitely user error lol. Anyways, great for the price and I would recommend!

Avoid!
I would avoid this mount at all costs. I had hung a $1600.00 laser projector for a golf simulator set up in my garage. I am pretty handy and this was a tedious (many small parts) set up, but I guess not too bad overall. BUT, the extension adjustment that slides up and down is on a “tension mount”, like some others as well. Long story short, all was well for 3 days, but on the 4th day the tension released for some reason (maybe cold temps, this was hanging in my garage) and the new projector came crashing down. Killed it. Luckily it is being replaced. This is a decently made mount but a poor design as far as securing the projector from the extension adjustment arm. Do not trust it! I should have trusted my better judgement as I commented to my son, “I really am a little uneasy with this mount”. But I had the tension tightened as much as I could and my projector weight was well within the stated limits of the mount. So I figured it would be ok. But not so. It’s priced cheaply, looks decent, but just a poor design. Will be using a different mount for sure next time….
