I’m so grateful for finding this author. This is one of the best short stories I’ve ever read. It deals with many emotions that individuals experience and how it impacts families. Next, I’m reading Small Things Like These, Shortlisted For The Booker Prize.

The best short story I have read in a long time!
Claire Keegan is a masterful storyteller – this short story, "The Forester's Daughter" caught my eye on Amazon and my heart while I was reading it. It can be read in a night but will stick with you for days – the best kind of book! Highly recommend!
