Easy to set up!
The LiftMaster 380UT is a great, simple remote! It was easy to set up, and I love how it works with both my garage door and gate opener. The buttons are responsive, and the compact size fits perfectly in my bag. It’s made life a bit easier, especially with its universal compatibility!

not universal poor product support
not universal I ordered the unit to open garage door and my entry gate. worked easy to set up on garage door but will not work on gate I checked with gate company they could not get it to work either so conclusion are not universal. if they would mark on and off on dip switch would help. with set up This product is not worth the 50 bucks at all do not buy

I bought this to use with my 1993 Genie garage door system. After recently purchasing a house I hired a professional garage door company to "tune up" my garage door and provide remotes. They used this exact product. I decided I wanted to buy a 3rd remote and bought it from Amazon. The most difficult part was figuring out how to program the remote to pair with the Genie. Being the system was almost 30 years old it didn't have a "learn button". I followed the instructions to configure the dip switches. Following that, the instructions for sequencing were not what worked. After multiple attempts I finally figured out what made logical sense. And now, it works perfect. Be patient.
