Easy to install. Works
My original opener was a Craftsman the exact one on Amazon was $170. I bought this one for $12. I replaced my failing Craftsman opener in minutes and it works perfectly fine. In fact the old one wasn’t lit up nor could I turn on just the lights with it. So I like this one better. So glad I didn’t buy the $170 one.

Great value for the price.
Great value for the price. Was easy to install, but really needs a cut out for the wires on the back of the unit.

Did the job!
OK, so I have had the Craftsman garage door opener for like 10 years and the button gave up the ghost. Took me all of 3 minutes to replace. If you know how to turn a screwdriver, you can do this. Simply remove the old button, turn it over and loosen the two screws (CCW) that attaches the wires. (FYI, if your button has failed completely, you can touch the two wires together to operate your garage door opener while you are waiting for the replacement) Unpackage the new button, turn it over to see the back. You will see two screw terminals. One labeled R the other W. Your wire should have two conductors, one is all white the other had a red stripe. Not rocket science here folks, put the White wire on the terminal labeled W and the red stripped wire on the terminal labeled R. Anyone could do it, well almost anyone.

Big button with bright green LED
The "console" doesn't work as described. The LED doesn't flash when the lock button is pressed. The light button doesn't work. The drywall anchors are inadequate and cheap.
