A great little dishwasher
I absolutely love this little dishwasher. It’s been about five months since I bought it, and I run it anywhere from twice a day to once every three days, depending on how many dishes I’m going through. I live alone, so it’s a good size for the number of dirty dishes I usually produce per day.I love the pour spout on the top, and this is the most important feature to me. This means I don’t need to hook up a hose to my kitchen faucet every time I run the dishwasher. Because I don’t need to do that, I can wash handwash-only items or items too big to fit simultaneously to when the dishwasher is running.I’ve never had any technical issues or malfunctions. I do recommend checking that both propellers can spin a full 360 before starting the cycle. However, if you start the cycle and realize one of the propellers is being blocked by a dish, it’s no trouble to stop the cycle, unblock the propeller, and restart the cycle.I’ve never used the dishwasher for fruit or babycare, so no comment on those features. But the normal, glass, and rapid cycles all work well. I’ve been using a liquid detergent on the recommendation of other reviewers here. The air refresh cycle doesn’t do very much, and whether you use it or not, the dishes will probably still be wet when the cycle completes. Easy solution is just to open the door and let things dry that way. I usually run the washer after dinner and then open it up when it’s done before going to bed, and the dishes are dry in the morning. Most of my silverware doesn’t fit into the basket vertically, but laying it in the basket horizontally works great. Larger plates usually need to tilt at a slight angle to fit, but this is not a big deal.Overall, I love this dishwasher. It can’t do all my dishes for me, as I have several dishes that are too big for it or aren’t dishwasher safe. But this cuts down on the day-to-day slog of doing the dishes and it is so much easier to get through what hand wash dishes are left. I also never need to hand wash silverware anymore, which was my least favorite.

I am absolutely ecstatic, sooooo happy with this little dishwasher! <3 <3 <3
I've seriously never been so excited over an appliance before! Long detailed review below if you want the whole spiel! I mulled over buying a mini dishwasher for way too long, looked at so many different ones & read so many reviews -- I am ridiculously happy to finally have this cute little Farberware dishwasher to help us out! The stress of having dishes building up in the sink in our tiny apartment was such a source of frustration between me & my bf, it was just hard to keep up after a long days work & especially during the pandemic when we'd been cooking at home 3 meals a day. It might be small, but even taking the edge off that pile of dishes has made a HUGE difference. Everything works really well & it fits nicely on the countertop next to our sink, without cramping our access to the sink, and I also love that this one has the option to fill the tank with a pitcher so we didn't have to hook it up to our faucet. Details on it below:Functionally, all the buttons, settings & parts are very user friendly & easy to find. It beeps clearly once the tank is full, so you can easily use your pull down kitchen faucet if you have one, or the pitcher works great too! For reference, we used a regular ECOS powder dishwashing detergent & it works great.Size wise, for example we were able to fit: 12 pieces of silverware, 3 cups, 1 cereal/soup bowl, 3 salad plates, 1 entree plate (10.5inch fit if laid diagonally), & 2 spatulas. You can probably fit more if you are more efficient than I am, but this was a casual example of fitting things in. While you can't really put pots & pans in there & large stuff, it really has made a difference in our ability to keep the kitchen clean, I do sometimes run pan lids in there tho, they fit just fine! And, I as a reference, there are 2 of us + 2 cats (we use salad-sized plates for their food), we use a lot of dishes in a given day.In response to some people commenting on the run time, the "Normal" wash is 2 hours and cleans really really well, but if you're like us & rinse your debris off your dishes before putting in the dish washer, we think the "Rapid" wash cycle works just fine & is only 40 min. Also, the Rapid wash is a slightly lower temperature, so it's great for those "top rack only" dishes or tupperware if you have any.Stamina of the dishwasher: On the first day using it, I ran it 3 times back to back: 1 normal cycle & then 2 Rapid cycles (with tank refills of course) and it worked fine washing for such a long stretch. In response to a couple of other comments people made about finding dampness in the dishwasher, it literally has a sign on the top that says "Dishwashers are all tested with water before delivery. It is considered normal if a little residual water is found."Anyway, that's our long review. We are super happy to have this little countertop friend to make our lives a little bit easier & less stressful. Thank you Farberware! :D

Very Impressed
Update: You can turn the light on during any cycle, just push start, no need to hold the button down, one tap will do.The Farberware countertop dishwasher has been a great addition to my small kitchen! Counter space is a premium, and this little machine fits perfectly without overwhelming my countertop. It measures perfectly within our space, which is 31 inches from countertop to the bottom of our cabinets. We have about 4 inches to spare, so it tucks in nicely. I've been pleasantly surprised by how well it cleans, especially considering its compact size. It tackles our everyday dishes with ease, leaving them sparkling.Noise-wise, it's definitely not silent, but it's not overly loud either. I could easily sleep in the same room while it's running. The included silverware basket is a bit small for our needs, so we bought a separate silverware caddy, which has been a helpful workaround. I do appreciate the light that comes on when you start a cycle, but I wish it would stay on throughout the wash. It's always tempting to peek and see how things are going! One thing to note is that the water fill tank is located in the back of the unit, which can be a little awkward to access depending on your setup. We actually 3D printed a small funnel that sits on top and directs the water in, which has been a fantastic solution for us. It's definitely something to consider depending on where you plan to place the dishwasher.Overall, if you're tight on space (like we are!) and need a dishwasher that cleans effectively, the Farberware countertop model is a solid choice. Just be prepared to supplement the silverware basket if you have a lot of utensils, don't expect a super quiet operation, and consider the water tank placement – you might need a workaround like we did. It's been a lifesaver for our small household!
