No KCups. The manual says to use coffee pads They are small round “pads” that fit perfectly in the brewing holder. They are considerably lower priced than cake ups, plus not the waste of the plastic Kcup The pads can go into your yard waste. Just Search coffee pads and see all the choices. The thing I don’t like about this is that it splatters a bit. We eliminated that by using a tall travel mug, which also keeps thevcoffee hot and insulated. And then we pour whatever we want into a cup. That’s the reason I gave it to 4 instead of a 5.

Q: Can you fill the water reservoir full and only use it for the single serve side or does it have to have just amount of water you want for each cup?

We only use the single serve side and it makes a great cup of coffee! I like the design since there is no guess work in how full it is going to fill your cup. You fill your cup with the amount of water you want, pour it in the machine, and push the button. I use a 16oz cup and it fills it full. The reservoir is emptied every time you use it so no mold/bacteria problem either!

Q: Does the travel cup come with it

I just got mine yesterday (5/12/2015), it did not include the cup. I picked the hassle-free packaging in lieu of the standard packaging if that makes a difference. Oh well, I was planning to use the 16-ounce Zojirushi with it anyways (which fits btw, as long as you take that bottom piece off the single side).

Q: Does the programmable feature work with the single cup feature also or just with the pot side?

It works on both, just slide the button to whichever one you want to program.
