These batteries are worth the money
We use these batteries in all weather conditions and with drastic temperature changes and we never have a problem. We have used many different brands and these seem to hold up the best.

Long lasting
These go in my serena shades, and some are so high I need a 15ft ladder to change. So I dont skimp on batteries because of that. Some of my batteries are over 2 years old now. I have replaced 5 out of 14 shades so far. I expected to replace once a year based on what vendor told me!!

Good but not what I expect from DURACELL.
I typically purchase 144 D batteries each year for cellular trail cameras during the August/September time frame. Last year I switched from the yellow (Pro) Duracell to the grey (Intense) Duracell. This year I decided to purchase the Low Drain model. These did not last as long; I can typically get September-mid-January from each camera/battery backup pack (each camera has 6 D's and each backup has the same and are wired together. Therefore, 12 D's normally give 5 months of use and still have power when I de-activate the system in mid-January. I had several camera stations sending "low battery" warnings as early as late October and into November and December. Longer they were out, the more dropped off. In contrast, last year all 12 lasted until deactivation in mid-January. I'll be going back to the yellow Duracell (Pro) next year. The hype and reviews didn't hold up.

Poor "Use by Date"
I bought some of these same batteries last year and used most of them during Hurricane Irma in Florida. Since my mother is 90 I brought most of my hurricane supplies to her house. We used most of the ProCell D batteries because she lost power for 8 days. We put them in lanterns and battery powered fans. Those fans are a god send when power is out in Florida. I tested the used batteries, the other day, and most were in the low "Good." The expiration date was 2024 but we really did use them. The 72 batteries I just purchased have an expiration date of 2021. We may or may not have a hurricane hit here so if not they would just stay in my hurricane tubs until next year. Which means the used batteries would have been good for 7 years, and these only for 3. Since I purchased 72 D batteries and had to pay $15 shipping, I am definitely not happy with this expiration date. The expiration date should be stated along with all the other information. Every other site I checked had a 2024 or higher expiration date. Some were a bit more expensive and others had strange looking batteries on their site. (ex; made in China). So basically I am very disappointed with this purchase.
