We purchased the SKLZ Quickster 12' x 6' goal for our kids' U9 soccer team, and it's been fantastic. Setup is quick and intuitive thanks to the click-lock poles and labeled components. The carrying case makes it easy to transport to and from the field, and it's light enough for one person to handle.What really impressed me is how durable it is — the net and frame easily handle shots from not just kids, but also teens and adults. The Tension-Tite frame holds up strong, and the 2-ply net is tough and well-made. No sagging or shifting during play.Whether it’s a backyard scrimmage or team practice, this goal delivers. Great goals. Huge step up from pop-ups that use tent style frame. We use these for adult pickup games and they work perfectly. Good size and the rectangular face is much nicer than the arched style that pop-ups have.They are very sturdy and if its not windy they are weighty enough that you dont really need the stakes. So its very quick and easy to adjust field size as people come and go.The pair sets up and breaks down in about 5 minutes (Tip: Leave the net attached to the rear bottom bar for quicker set up. Just slide the five rear velcro tabs to the center of the bar. Fold the two sides of the bar in. Then roll/wind the net around the bar taking care to keep the bar ends from tangling in the net.)

My kids use it regularly and it's pretty easy to pack up if needed. Set up super quick

The first time we ordered this net it showed up with a part missing. We contacted the manufacturer and waited a week and heard nothing. We decided to return it and purchased a new one. When it arrived, the box was the box of the net, however, inside the box were random pieces of metal, possibly legs of a computer desk? Random screws and bolts were loose in the box. We obviously returned that as well. The only reason why we purchased this net for a 3rd time was because my son had been begging for this brand net for a year and it was a birthday present. When it arrived, everything was fine, however, the net has been set up and used for a month and there is already a hole in the net. It is not from being used unproperly. I don't think that after a month, a net that costs almost $200 should have a hole in it from "normal wear and tear". If you're reading this and are looking for a net of this size, I would honestly spend less on a different brand and maybe you'd even get better quality. We did eventually hear back from the manufacturer over a month later from the original purchase date of the first net. Not acceptable in my opinion.

I ended up coaching some kids soccer last fall and while the league hands out the nearly flat cones to the coaches I wanted some real goals. These look great, were easy and very fast to set up before and after practice and lasted the whole season 2 teams with two practices a week each and us using them at home some too with no damage other than a bent stake or two which is unavoidable. The teams took some solid shots on them every practice and the nets and poles are still ready for another season. The kids can mostly set them up themselves. The part where you stretch and hook the the net is too hard for my 5 yo but the 7 and older kids can manage.All in all great sturdy goals that are easy and quick to use and don’t break the bank.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this net but they don’t sell replacement parts for it. You can get some more life out of it by reinforcing it with 1 1/4” pvc pipe. Get a 10’ piece and cut it in half. 5’ is perfect. It makes it stronger and straighter if the insert rods get damaged Practice value:Perfect backyard sizeValue for money:Nice net for the price

As a kids soccer coach, I sometimes have to hold practice in a space without goals. After using two cones a few times, I needed a better solution. These nets have definitely improved our situation. They set up pretty quick, not instantly. The support posts (part metal, part fiber) are strong and sturdy to keep the net tight. As the pictures show, it is not a full frame goal -- meaning there is not any side or top posts. If the ball hits the top of the net, it will just hit net, not a post. It comes with some loops to anchor the net to the ground. You don't always need to anchor it, but it does help. It is much smaller than a regulation goal, but not so small that it's hard to hit. It comes with a bag to carry, but just know that it does have some weight to it. Carrying it for a long distance does require some strength and endurance.

This portable soccer goal is exactly what we needed for our adult Sunday league. It’s incredibly sturdy, even when used by adults, and holds up well under intense play. Assembly is straightforward once you get the hang of it, and it’s pretty easy to learn. I highly recommend bringing a mallet or small hammer to drive in the metal stakes that come with it. These stakes are crucial for holding down the back and sides of the goal, especially when it’s kicked back during play. Overall, a fantastic product that I highly recommend!
